Start with the napkin prefolded as a triangle with the long edge away from you. Fold one corner toward you and then the other. Tuck the bottom half underneath. Fold one side over. Then fold the other side over and tuck it in. Turn the napkin over, open the design into a tube, fold back the flaps, and stand it up.How to fold the Napkin Three Corner Hat
Ease of Folding: The Three Cornered Hat requires several steps and takes some time.
Fabric: Moderately stiff napkin fabric is required so that the two flaps hold their position.
Precision: The starting triangle is worth folding accurately so that the tip of the hat and all the edges are aligned.
Notes: This elegant hat makes a striking table decoration. A place name card can be tucked into the front of the hat.
