Start with the napkin folded as a triangle with long edge away from you. Fold each corner in under the napkin to make a square. Fold the top corner of the square towards you. Lift the center line to make the pyramid.How to fold the Napkin Pyramid
Ease of Folding: The Pyramid can be folded easily and quickly. The animation shows the folding being done without turning the napkin over. Although this is possible, it is often easier to make the first two folds on top and then turn the napkin over.
Fabric: Moderately stiff napkin fabric is required so that the final design will stand up on the table as a triangular pyramid.
Precision: The final design looks much better if the corners and edges line up neatly.
Uses: The Pyramid is widely used in restaurants because the napkins can be folded in advance (frame 8), squeezed flat, and stored folded side-by-side standing on the long edges. Then, to set a table, the napkins can be quickly opened up and positioned around the table.
