Envelope Folding
Start with the napkin prefolded as a square. Fold in one side corner and then the other side corner. Fold up the bottom corner. Insert the silverware.How to fold the Envelope
Ease of Folding: This design is simple and can be folded very quickly.
Fabric: It can be folded in any fabric. The fabric used in the animation looks the same on both sides. However, a fabric which has different sides can make a pleasing envelope becasue the outside then contrasts with the inside.
Precision: Precision is not critical but the envelope looks more natural when the original square aligns the sides and corners accurately.
Notes: Although this is a simple design, it is not very stable. Therefore, it is not ideal for storing folded because the fold may fall open as it is being laid on the table.
